This is where my Dad side and my Architect side collide!

Design A Dad was started as a way to "take a break" from the busy life of being both an Architect and a new dad...by writing about being an Architect and a new dad.

Over time (when I have the time) it has evolved into a variety of things including a look into the parallels of the styles of parenting and designing, thoughts about how to introduce art and architecture to kids, and an overall thought process of how Studio m exists amid the functionality of daily life.

Besides my love for design and the fact that I wanted to own my own business, the existence of my son and my desire to be more flexible with my schedule are among the primary reasons that Studio m exists.
